    Thank you for writing this! I always have a debate in my mind when dealing with my kids. I don’t want to give praise when I know they’re not trying their best. I know that in today’s society kids are often praised for anything, whether they tried hard or not, and it’s creating a culture of kids who feel entitled even when they’re simply not putting in the effort.
